Informative Tool
Reflective writing on informative tools
We have learned that Informative tools refers to applications that offer learners access to extensive information and content or informative tools are resources that teach students about a variety of topics. Informative tools encompass not only traditional resources such as books, but also digital platforms, interactive media, and various technological advancements. Embracing these tools can help people become lifelong learners and stay informed in an ever-changing environment.
It is crucial to incorporate informative tools into teaching and learning while keeping in mind their significance. Using informative tools like Google Slides and PowerPoint to create dynamic presentations with multimedia elements like images, videos, and quizzes is one way that we can incorporate informative tools into teaching and learning. This can capture students' interest and make studying more interesting.
While incorporating informative tools into teaching and learning, we can use a variety of formats, including text, sound, images, graphics, videos, and animation. Each informative tool has unique advantages when used. For example, by using text as an informative tool, we can get immediate feedback and help develop comprehension skills. Images and graphics help to express information and ideas without we need to write.
Informative tools are useful in a variety of ways, including presenting information in a structured and organized format, which is easier to comprehend and understand. Visual aids, interactive elements, and multimedia components can help learners engage and comprehend more effectively. Informative tools allow students to learn at their own pace and based on their specific interests. It is possible because there are so many resources available in various formats. Informative tools promote a lifelong learning mindset. Using informative tools, people can continue to learn and gain new knowledge throughout their lives.
Let me now take you to my PowerPoint simulation to show you how all the formats of informative tools are integrated to teach the concept of "some Birds of Bhutan" to grade 3 students in English subjects.

I utilized text, images, and sounds along with other informative tool in my PowerPoint simulation to teach students about the birds of Bhutan and their characteristics. I explained the concept and characteristics of birds using text, illustrated how each bird looks with pictures, and demonstrated how each bird chirps using sounds.
I made a PowerPoint simulation to teach about several Bhutanese birds since PowerPoint simulations allow us to integrate other types of educational resources such as text, visuals, and sounds. By doing this, we can clearly explain the birds found in Bhutan using a single PowerPoint demonstration, eliminating the need for the teacher to explain the topic again.
Therefore, as a future teacher, I am going to use informative tools to create lessons and teach in the classroom because not only do these tools make learning easier and more understandable, but they also help students develop an interest in learning and also teachers do not have to explain everything; instead, they can effectively facilitate and guide students' learning in the classroom.
