SMAR

SMAR model

We have learned that the SMAR model in ICT integration stands for substitution, modification, argumentation and redefinition. It is the planning tool that helps teachers design effective lesson plan to support the teaching and learning. This model encourages moving beyond simple substitution of traditional tools with technology, towards more transformative uses that enhance learning experiences. Therefore, it is important to integrate SMAR model in the classroom.

Following lesson plan is an example of SMAR model integration in the Lesson planning.
